Christine Parkinson, Head Wine Buyer for the Hakkasan Group, and Anthony Rose – well-known wine guru and Co-Chairman of Tokyo’s International Sake Challenge – will host 10 guests the first Saturday of every month in Sake no Hana’s ground floor bar, providing a thorough understanding of one of Japan’s most famous exports.

Running from 10.15am, each half-day class will offer an introduction to the history of Japan’s national drink with a particular focus on how and when to drink it. Guests will try seven types of sake and one umeshu – a traditional Japanese plum wine – followed by lunch at Sake no Hana’s sushi counter. Guests will also receive a gift bag on departure, to include a bottle of sake and kikichoko ‘snake eye’ sake cup.
